Respect: Priest Guards Huge German WW2 Cemetery in Russia (Video)

People criticize him, but he just says: 'every soldier has the right to a grave'

What a humbling, haunting story.

80 km from St. Petersburg, a Russian village priest guards and upholds a strange treasure: a cemetery where 75,000 German soldiers are buried.

He has faced disbelief and criticism for honoring Russia's WWII 'enemies,' who sought to erase Russian culture and enslave the Russians (and the world). Yet calmly and consistently, this priest continues serving in the church nearby and tending to the graves.

Watch this incredible video from the RT:

Above blind patriotism and anger, he upholds the value that his father taught him above all:

"the ability to forgive and see a human being in your former enemy"
