Fathers of three or more children should be exempted from mobilization (according to the current law, fathers of four or more children are not mobilized), said Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus', speaking in the Federation Council.
“In order to save the people and stimulate the birth rate in Russia, I consider it important at the federal level to legislatively prohibit the mobilization in peacetime of fathers of large families with three or more children, this is especially relevant now,” Patriarch Kirill said at the plenary session of the XII Parliamentary Meetings within the framework of the International Christmas Educational readings in the Federation Council.
