Over 65% of Russians Trust Putin


The level of approval of Russian President Vladimir Putin's performance was 61.2%. According to the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VTsIOM), 65.2% of citizens said they trusted the head of state.

Mikhail Mishustin ranks second (52.5%), while Vladimir Zhirinovsky ranks third (30.7%). Gennadi Zyuganov is trusted by 25.7% and Sergei Mironov by 27.5%.

The "United Russia" party is supported by 30.3% of the respondents, the CPRF - 12.4%, the LDPR - 10.3%, the "Just Russia" - 6.9%.

The telephone poll was conducted in January-March 2021 among 1,000 citizens of the Russian Federation over 18 years old. The maximum margin of error with a probability of 95% does not exceed 1%.

As REGNUM news agency reported, in May 2020, Russian President Vladimir Putin was trusted by 59% of citizens.
