The ship-church "Holy Apostle Andrew" continues her way through remote villages and hamlets of Western Siberia, navigating the great rover Ob and its tributaries. She set out for her journey on August 15, carrying on board the Christian Orthodox mission and the general practitioner's medical office.

Full and complete free medical examination is offered to all village residents. A mobile church gets set up nearby if a village does not have its own parish and not everyone can get to the district center with a regular Orthodox Church. Many local residents come for a meeting with clergy.

- People come for confession, for home blessing, for baptism; Divine Liturgy is celebrated, so that the residents receive the Holy Communion. Our duty is to help the residents of remote settlements,"─ explained Archpriest Konstantin, the head of missionary projects of the Novosibirsk Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church .

Almost a month of work is ahead of the missionaries. River cruise will cover a large area of the West Siberian plain.
