The Web Is No Place for Sodomite Propaganda, Violators Have Been Consistently Punished in Russia

In Bashkiria (July 15th), a magistrates' court fined the chief specialist of the Latvian Historical and Cultural Center 25 thousand rubles for propaganda of LGBT movement, the regional FSSA reported. She was found guilty of propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations among minors via the Internet (Part 2 Art. 6.21 of the Administrative Code).

According to the secret service, the 55-year-old defendant posted a video with symbols of the LGBT movement on the official page of the cultural center in "Vkontakte". At the same time, she was aware that there were minors among the group's subscribers, the press service noted.

A magistrate's court in Moscow (July 12th) imposed an administrative fine on journalist Yuri Dudy (recognized in Russia as a foreign media agent) for propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations among minors. "A ruling by a justice of the peace at court district No. 271 in Moscow's Lefortovo district has imposed a punishment of an administrative fine of 120,000 rubles," the press service of Moscow's Lefortovo court told Interfax on Tuesday.
