Faith of the simple, Faith of the nobles, Our Faith is blessed. . . . This tremendous song was written by St. Nikolai Velimirovic, and it is performed beautifully in both of these music videos.
St. Nicholai Velimiriovic was a genius. Not only did he write the incredible Prologue of Ohrid, he also composed a number of beautiful Orthodox songs, such as Christos Voskrese (Christ is Risen), which has become quite popular. He also wrote this beautiful song, "Our Faith", which we are happy to share here. The original Serbian Lyrics for the song are available online. The first video includes many stunning pictures of the Holy Trinity Lavra in Sergeiv Posad, Russia. I have been to this monastery and it is truly unforgettable. The second video takes place in Serbia, at an Orthodox Church which had nearly been destroyed in the Second World War. Where the video was being filmed, the sign of the cross appeared in the sky, and the people gratefully received this sign as a blessing from God.
